Must have game for Horror fans!
This is really one of those games you can't skip if you're into horror games. Even if you never heard of the original Alien movie this game is going to suck you right in. While I did get better at escaping the Alien as I progressed through the game, the tension and fear of getting caught never went away as I traveled through the various environments. There's even a VR mod for this one that puts you right on the ship that ups the terror levels to 10. You don't have to believe me, just Google it yourself and see what others are saying. I'm not exaggerating, it's one of the scariest games you will play, especially in VR.

    Freaking scary
This game made me jump out of my chair at least multiple times. It made my heart rage, it made me scream and probably cry at some time too because I just couldn't save in time after doing a hard task. I loved it!

    Outstanding!
This has to be one of the scariest games I have played in a long time. The lighting effects are wonderful, with carefully placed objects to get you second-guessing everything. Sound is completely immersive, drawing you in as you wonder what it is you are hearing off in the distance. The graphics are beautiful and complement this game nicely.

Overall this is a must buy, especially at this low price.

    Scary
Das Spiel ist der Hammer besonders wenn man sich vorher alle Filme nochmals anschaut. Grafik ist Top. Traue es mich kaum weiter zuspielen. Love it. Zwar nervt manchmal das Alien, weil man einfach nur die Story weiter bekommen will.

    Phenomenal Game
First off, might be a bit bias as i'm a big Alien fan!

Might I add that to get the real feel of this game, ensure your playing this in a dark room, headset on (surround sound) and no other distractions.

I will also state that this is the only game that scares me to death, my heart races as soon as I see one of the freakish androids and ofcourse, the beast itself.

The way the game puts you into the character from the very start, the graphics are stunning, really have to give SEGA the thumbs up for once. The game should be played slowly, it is a stealth game after-all, ammo is scarce and should be used wisely - might I add that you can't actually kill the alien. So you really do have to play hide and seek and be aware of your surroundings.

The sound in-game is phenomenal, the environment around you and the sounds of the weapons and enemies and the beast is superb, it puts you on the edge of your seat - hearing the alien above you within the vents not knowing when it's going to come down is just terrifying.

The DLC is worth buying - Last Survivor, Crew Expendable, Corporate Lockdown are the ones I recommend, Last Survivor is you playing as Ripley needing to escape the Nostromo which has to be the best DLC as your reliving the film. Absolute fantastic game and I play with most of the settings on ultra at 1920x1080 (spec below).

Definitely worth the purchase of £30! (If you can get it less then it's definitely a pickup!)

    The gameplay - 9.7/10
    The sound - 9.8/10
    The graphics - 9.5/10

(Played this using a Xbox 360 controller wireless)

My computer specs as of 09/05/15:
    MSI Z97 Gaming7 | Intel i7 4790K @ 4Ghz W/Corsair H100i | ZOTAC GTX 770 AMP! Edition | HyperX Beast 16GB DDR3 2400Mhz | EVGA Supernova G2 750W

The 80' are back ..and i love it!
Best thing about this game is the style from the Alien movie, its actually feels like being in the movie, and I really love the movie. Grafic is good, many details

Sacrefactor is great, but after a while, you'll get used to it and it actually start becomming an annoyance. The alien is persisntent, but incredibly stupid as well, so its easy to avoid or trick. Other enemies are way more annoying, like "you always know, a working joe" ;)
Its really some good old fashion 80' scare music wich goes well with the game, if it just wasnt so LOUD!!!

Story is well written, but suffers from some old cliche's, but these are fairly few.

All in all, its a great game and well worth playing.

The Best Movie-Related Video Game in Years
If you are looking for an actual horror experience, you have come to the right place. Not only is this game extremely beautiful, it provides a level of suspense that is not easy to find in any game made these days.

If you are a fan of horror, Alien in general, or just awesome experiences, this game is worth your time.

    Intense Suspense and Terror!
This game makes very good use of the unknown. The threat of danger lurking in every corner, creaks and hisses issuing from the darkness, paired with the tense music, and that blip on your radar that only vaguely gives you an idea of where the alien is, all come together to create a very creepy and nerve wracking experience.

The "isolation" is greatly felt, and the seeming rarity of meeting the aliens only adds to the tension. There's been nothing for a while now... you're sure they'll be there surrounding you soon... and yet, still nothing.

This is an excellent game. Highly recommended to all.

    AWESOME GAME!!!
This game remains true to its genre. The graphics are great for a current gen game. Minimal bugs for a launch title which was surprising. One of the best games I have played in a while, 5 stars!!!!!!!!Runs well on AMD and Nvidia systems. Expect decent framerates on a verity of hardware. I run it on a GTX 670 with a Athlon II x4 860 AMD processor. and get over sixty on max.

A good game for a good franchise.

Options are ok in game since they need a better FOV scale. You lose SMAA T2 if use SLI. I do not recommend SLI.

The game is scary. Get ready to turtle up. It's a good buy.
